"Amy Beth Kirsten has written and the true keep coming, based on the mysterious 'Master Letters' of Emily Dickinson; Marti Epstein's The piano in the palace beautiful is for Louisa May Alcott; David Sanford's piece (title tba) is for Harriet Tubman; and Elena Ruehr chose women's rights activist Margaret Fuller for her piece, Summer on the Lakes, 1843 (premiered in 2018). To this, we are adding Prosody by Scott Lindroth, This Land by Aaron Helgeson, and assorted short works by Ives. The Kirsten, Epstein and Sanford are all world premieres." -Donald Berman
